This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Yes, I'm not a fan of overly digitized images either. I've used my F50 a fair amount, but it's so easy with the D70. The problem is with you can only have one digital sensor, but a thousand types of film! I think next time im having a photo session I'm taking the F50 and the D70 with me, and have a bit of a compare and contrast!
for sure - experimentation is key. and it helps if you're organized and write down what you did. i'm meaning to try some more night photography (recently invested in a good light meter), so I'll have to be diligent about getting out the note pad...
one other thing that bugs me about some digital - the little captions or titles that artists sometimes put below the image. photos should speak for themselves.
It is nice to be able to have whatever film speed you want, whenever you want with a digital, but I'm focused on mastering film right now and I just enjoy the darkroom process.
